We had a pleasant stay in the Pioneer Home at the Wild West Retreat. The home is rustic but comfortable. Nice location. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen stocked well with everything we needed. The property was charming with blooming trees and roaming chickens, even a hammock to enjoy. We had a front porch swing we enjoyed one day. The host were very responsive and even surprised us with a dozen eggs from their chickens. We were traveling with another couple and even though the Pioneer Home could accommodate them, they opted to stay at the Barn, just a bit across from the Pioneer Home. This is a very cute place. They had a covered patio right outside the door. We had a pleasant BBQ dinner there one night. We really enjoyed being able to stay here versus a hotel. Plus, we prefer to eat in instead of dining out all the time. Donna and Tim

We are pleased to provide our comments on our six night stay. Best location, second to none in Park City. Lots of room for our family. wonderful thoughtful floor plan and interior design. Super private and on the quite side. Fully outfitted kitchen. underground parking space. Wonderful decks and outdoor space. Great welcoming staff highly helpful and communicative. Everything in the home WORKS. we simply had a wonderful time and hope to return next year

Thank you to your entire team for making our stay in Park City enjoyable. We had a very nice time there despite a few days of smoke! As for the Parkite rental. The positives were the location on Main Street, access to parking, the gym, and the patio and hot tub area.

We did enjoy our stay and the team were very responsive. The apartment is lovely!

Having gone to Park City 10 times, I can definitively say this place is the best location in town and a great rental to say the least.

The Barn at the Wild West Retreat was a treat to stay in during our Utah roadtrip. The layout and decor are super original, with lots of timber and antiques. The king bed was the most comfortable of our entire trip, and our daughter loved the little cot in her own little section of the loft. The wood-burning stove was crackling away as we arrived and the place was toasty and cozy. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking and the stars above were gorgeous. We appreciated the bread, cereal, eggs, milk, and fruit available for breakfast! Oh and having conditioner in the shower is one of my most-appreciated amenities - thank you! What could make it even better? A blanket(s) on the sofa and chair in the living room for more coziness. A few more kitchen items - like peanut butter for kids - and ziplock baggies, aluminum foil, etc., for sandwiches. And the toilet is at a funny angle so my 6'4" husband couldn't sit on it facing forward! The hosts were super friendly too - which was awesome. There were two adult bikes for use which would be fun to pedal into town. My daughter also loved that the neighbors rooster was roaming around and the owners' pig was available for petting :).

We stayed in the Wild West Retreat barn for one night on March 14, 2018. What a treat! The photos absolutely do not do it justice; it may not look like the Taj Mahal on the outside, but it is so well done and comfortable on the inside. We had everything we needed for our family of three. Our 10-year-old son stayed on the exceptionally comfortable sofa bed next to the wood stove, and we stayed in the king bed upstairs in the loft. The kitchen was nicely stocked for breakfast with everything one would need for toast with toppings and pancakes. Milk and OJ were also provided, along with a great outdoor grill and/or indoor oven if you brought food with you. The shower was a little dark but handily provided shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. I couldn't figure out how to get the mobile space heater to work - that would have been great during the shower, but we didn't need it for our stay as the wood stove heated the entire space more than enough. Definitely 5-star accomodations in Escalante - most highly recommended!

We've stayed previously, so we knew if we had a chance, we could come back. This barn is so cute & cozy. Inside is an open decor with catwalks up across the living room to the bedroom and to the upstairs deck. There is a covered deck out front, with access to a hot tub, gas grill & bicycle. Inside, the kitchen has plenty of room, plenty of hot water, TV, fireplace in the living room area. Up the spiral staircase & across a catwalk is the open king bedroom with another TV. Bed is very comfortable with great sheets. Across the other catwalk is the door leading out to the upstairs deck with a table & chairs for watching the night skies. If given the chance, we will go back & stay a little longer. Awesome stay once again. One of our Top 5 favorites!!
