Guests consistently praise the prime location near the slopes, ski valet service, and the unique Murph bed layouts in the studios. However, the property suffers from conflicting accounts of staff behavior, ranging from excellent to unprofessional, and significant hidden costs.

DO NOT STAY HERE — especially if you’re traveling with family or minors. I stayed here from January 21–27 as a chaperone for three 16-year-old boys from a New York school on a short ski and snowboard trip. What occurred during our stay was deeply unsettling and handled with a complete lack of judgment, accountability, and zero sympathy. Late Friday night, due to the Sabbath, we asked the front desk attendant (Diego) to assist with turning off the room lights. He came upstairs and immediately accused us of smoking in the room, without explanation or evidence, and told us we had 10 minutes to pack, take all our things, and leave, stating that the police were being called. The accusation was so sudden and out of nowhere that we initially thought it might be some kind of sick joke. We were genuinely shocked when police actually arrived. There was no smoking of any kind and nothing related to it. At one point during the stay, food had been prepared in the room, which could reasonably explain an unfamiliar smell that was not what it was assumed to be. Police arrived and stated that the room itself did not smell of smoke. We offered to have our bags and belongings searched to resolve the accusation. That offer was ignored. The officers provided their names and a case number documenting the incident. We were told that if the staff member on duty demanded we leave, it would be enforced. I personally asked Diego why he was doing this, explaining that he was forcing three minors and their chaperone out late at night, with no available rooms at any hotel within walking distance, and that it was the Sabbath, which made relocating even more difficult. He refused to explain and walked away. Because of this, we had nowhere to go. It was frigidly cold outside, and even though we were already bundled up, we were forced to seek shelter in the lobby of a neighboring hotel just to stay warm, with all of our luggage. After a shift change, we were later allowed back into our room, as someone with authority acknowledged that we had been removed improperly. From that point forward, a different front desk staff member instructed us to simply not interact with Diego, and we were able to complete the remainder of our stay without further incident. At the end of the stay, a video was taken of the room after checkout. The room was left in a normal end-of-stay condition for a group of teenagers — some clutter and towels on the floor, but nothing damaged, nothing ruined, and nothing beyond what could have been cleaned quickly with a garbage bag. Despite everything that occurred, we were only partially refunded for a single night, without taxes included, and were additionally charged a $500 fee, described as a smoking charge. I explained the entire situation in full to the manager (Luke), but after listening, nothing materially changed. He stated that he fully backed his staff and told us to “get off the property as quickly as possible,” with no opportunity to appeal or meaningfully resolve the issue. At no point was there a real investigation, evidence presented, or concern shown for the safety of minors. There was also no manager available at the time of the eviction, no number to call, and no accountability afterward. Families, group travelers, and anyone expecting basic fairness should think very carefully before staying here.

They were a little misleading since they didn’t tell us about the resort fee when we booked it. And during our check out, they asked for a resort fee which was expensive. The amenities wasn’t that great to charge us 80$ fee. The fire wasn’t working outside as per the front desk lady and the game room only had pool table working.

Checked in for July weekend on the 3rd-5th. On the day of check in our room smelled like cigarette smoke - and we were moved to another room. (This was great) On the day of checkout - cleaning lady’s had come in before 11am, before we had checked out. While I had been taking stuff down to my car- they went through my personal belongs and threw away a lot of grocery’s. (I was leaving the grocery’s for last bc I didn’t have a cooler to put these things in) After leaving and checking out officially they charged my card $45 for not being able to find a bottle of lotion.( There was no lotion in this room to begin with. ) When I called to get to the bottom of all that had happened I talked to a cleaning lady named Lauren who would not give me the general managers information so I could get this sorted out. After 10 min of back and forth someone else stepped in and told her to transfer me to the general managers voicemail box. I have left a message and hoping they are able to give me a call to sort this out. Im extremely upset that this happened and I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed there for a 5 day stay. To say the service was poor would be an understatement. Often when we went to drop off or pick up our skis the attendants were no where to be found, so we waited. Felt that anytime we asked for assistance that we were an interrupting there day. Trip was finished off with with asking for assistance the day after we left of locating a missing jacket. Staff would not call down to the room or check the room for the jacket, was told that I would have to wait for them to vacate and they would check. Understanding that leaving a jacket is not there fault but a little courtesy would be appreciated. Was told that they would look into it and call me back, never received a call back. The overall lack of service was disappointing

Great location, room was a bit small but got the job done for our ski trip. The bunk bed could have been a bit more comfortable, they are the wall hinged type beds and it had a slight incline. The onsite washer and drier is incredibly helpful and staff are friendly and helpful.

Met some friends up at the canyons and while we were staying at a different hotel, we spent a fair amount of time at this one and we liked it so much. I thought I’d write a review on it based on my interactions there with the staff, location, and convenience to the slopes. First, the rooms are set up with a Murphy bed and this one had full down bunkbeds that actually served as a desk area when-not a use. There was a couch served as a platform for the Murphy bed. And the desk area served as bunkbeds. The coffee table was multifaceted with the ability to be raised and lowered as well as fold out and double itself in size The bathroom had a large shower. Also in the main room was a huge TV and in this case we had a balcony. The only downside I found was the room seemed a little bit small when the table was set up with four people, I think with two people the room is fine. Heading out with our friends to ski there is a ski valet as you walk out from where the heated pool and large spot is located from there. It’s about 300 feet to the gondola Walking on the street and up some stairs. While we didn’t actually sleep at the hotel, I found the staff incredibly attentive and friendly. The next time we’re out at Park city will definitely consider staying at this property. I would highly recommend checking it out for pricing and comparing to the other hotels. You’ll really love the location.

Nice location and good place for skiing. We stayed there with 2 kids (5 and 7). We were wondering if the small room would work but it was perfect. Kids liked the bunk beds. Murphy bed up and down every day was not as much of a bother as I imagined. The walk to the ski school and chair lift is short and up the stairs which was very easy even in your ski boots. Room was clean and equipped with any kitchen stuff we needed. Would stay there again.

Very European feel. Loved our stay. Great amenities and the location is stellar. Can’t wait to come back. Some say the rooms are small but much larger than many in Europe and very clean and efficient. We thought it was perfect. We were in unit 312. Great view of the ski runs.

We loved the style and comfort of this hotel. Employees are incredibly nice and helpful. Garage parking, ski valet are free. Very short walk to the gondola and bubble chair lift. Nice dining options around. Hotel has a rich game room including arcade, table games and pool table (all free). Heated outdoor pool, steam room, fire pit and hot-tub were fun to use. They also have snacks, coffee, beverages, frozen pizza etc for sale at the front desk. Small one person conference rooms and spacious living spaces near the lobby including a fire place

Grading on a scale as it's definitely not a 4-star hotel. But you're staying here to be pretty close to the mountain and save money, right? The single rooms are extremely small (efficient?) with oddly large kitchen appliances. Lighting in the rooms can be interesting - no light to the surface of the sun. And you're "close" to the lifts, but not ski in/out. The service staff are fantastic, and the facilities are nice - and well used.
