Guests praise the AC Hotel by Marriott Park City for its modern, clean rooms and exceptional staff service, noting beautiful views and convenient proximity to the mountains and town center. However, some travelers have raised concerns regarding the hotel's high amenity fees for parking and breakfast, as well as inconsistent room maintenance issues like occasional wear and tear.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Park City, and stayed here. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and wasn’t worn down. Customer service was always good. Everyone was so nice. And a specific big shout out to Franny G. and Carla G. who helped us get checked in. They were clear with information and didn’t rush us through the check in process. They were amazing! They even gave us a little gift for our anniversary.
This was my second time staying at AC Park City. The location is great - just a few minutes to the ski hill and lots near by for food and drink. The hot tub is great after a day of skiing. The absolute BEST thing about the AC Park City is their employee, Deja. She was our shuttle driver to the mountain one morning and greeted us on time with a smile and good conversation. As we passed a local greenhouse on our way, she mentioned they had a coffee shop and delicious homemade potato chips. I commented on how my favorite food is potato chips and that I hoped to stop in and pick some up. When we got back to our room after our ski day, a fresh bag of potato chips was waiting! This is the most thoughtful thing any hotel employee has ever done for us. She provided a real "WOW" experience that I will never forget. Thank you, Deja, for the delicious chips and exceptional service. You are still making me smile!
We had a great stay at the AC Hotel in Park City. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with a sleek European style that feels calm and well thought out. The rooms were quiet, beds were comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is super convenient—easy access to Park City, Kimball Junction, and nearby resorts. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby and common spaces were great for relaxing after a long day. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to families and travelers looking for a reliable, stylish option in Park City.
The staff was very friendly and they care about the guest experience. At check-in, I was asked if I had any preferences for room location, which was a nice touch and not something I've encountered at other properties. The room was clean and the location is great: it's within walking distance of a large outlet mall, several hiking trails, and a Whole Foods. Platinum members can get a $10 voucher toward the breakfast, which is a basic European spread but it has nutritious options and very fresh berries. I really liked that they had a Nespresso machine at the breakfast. Thanks for an enjoyable stay in Park City.
Stayed here for 5 nights with family for a vacation sightseeing in Utah. Great location with ample parking and mountain views. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was basic but good quality and well prepared. Rooms were well presented and spacious, with good heating and cooling. We had a wonderful time and would stay again in a heartbeat
This used to be one of my favorite hotels in Park City after it first opened a few years ago. Since then it has gotten pretty bad. Some of the rooms are not in great shape, mold in some of the bathrooms and pealing wall paper and just all around wear and tear without up keep. Can’t stand that they charge nightly for self parking which should never be the case to park at a hotel you are paying for already without valet. The bathroom sinks are super shallow hard to wash hands with the little space between faucet and sink, the square toilet seats need to go and be replaced with normal toilets. They consistently have high rates and used to be competitively and reasonably priced. They charge for breakfast and the food is not great, they should instead get normal tasty breakfast food and offer it complementary to guests like most hotels. This hotel needs to step it up.
Extremely disappointed in this Marriot. I am a Marriot Bonvoy member. This hotel is highly unorganized regarding communication regarding housekeeping. Housekeeping is only provided every other day. On our scheduled cleaning day, we verbally confirmed with the front desk concierge, which they confirmed as well. The hotel amenities such as in room refrigerators and hallway ice machines were non functional. Our room had no arm chair, closet or drawers for clothes. Overall this was a very frustrating experience and would not recommend staying here. The Best Western Plus on the same road is superior.
Great location! The rooms are really small. The hotel charges $16 per person for breakfast, which is WILD! The food they put out was pretty much the basic continental breakfast. It was not worth that price. Also, they charge $10 per car per night for parking. The beds are not very comfortable and the remote to the tv is worn out because it barely works. You have to try every angle to get the remote to connect with the TV. I was not super impressed with much of the hotel or my experience.
Really nice hotel a few minutes from Park City. We stayed in August at the end of our western US national parks trip. After staying in a few of the near park motels this was like returning to heaven. Soft beds, good water pressure. The breakfast was a little unusual for a free hotel breakfast. No pancakes or waffles. Instead that made an prosciutto and egg toast. Not in anyway bad just unusual compared to the norm. The free Latte was great. All in all a very nice hotel at a very reasonable $170 per night.
We had a great stay here. We were greeted by Nancy. She was so nice and helpful. She gave a us great recommendations and ideas of what to do during our stay. The rooms were super clean. The beds were super nice as well. I highly recommend staying here if you visiting the area. My wife and I will for sure make this our stay next time.
