Guests frequently praise the large, well-equipped suites with full kitchens and the friendly staff, but comments indicate that recent updates have adversely affected the property's appeal.
Check in was easy. Parking is free underground but limited. Plenty of indoor games. Small pool 3ft. Sauna looks well kept. Full kitchens. 100% appreciated perk is shuttle to resort, times are posted at the front desk. Plenty of walkable restaurants
We booked this hotel for a quick getaway during fall break. It listed a pool which actually turns out to be across the street. The large hot tub was stinky and my entire family said their skin crawled after using it. Swimming was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel but it was a mistake. In addition, our suite was roomy but shabby and needs an update. Adequate towels for a group of seven would have been nice. When I requested an adjustment due to the pool (or, more accurately, non-pool situation), Jeff (at the desk) acknowledged the issues but said no, not their problem or responsibility. Hence, my review. Needless to say, I would not recommend Park Plaza Resort in Park City UT. Response to owner’s comments: Instead of offering up excuses, perhaps you should put your time towards coordinating with all entities that share info regarding your facility to assure that your guests are not negatively disappointed with the lack of accommodations such as a pool (no one would expect the pool to be across the street and require an additional fee). And, btw, other hotel guests we encountered commented on the smelly hot tub, too.
Perfect room and reasonable price at off peak season. Receptionist was very nice and patient at check in, other staff were also very friendly. Complimentary underground parking is good for snow season. Suit with a full function kitchen. Will come back in winter.
Got in late that night, gal was nice enough to leave the hot tub area unlocked for us even though it was poss to be locked. They were very helpful. Place was clean and nice. Everything worked in out room, in the morning they had free fresh warm coffee ?? in the lobby. Thanks for great stay!!
I’m usually a positive review kinda guy, and I’ll start with the positive. My wife and I come every year with my in laws Labor Day weekend, my in laws have had a time share here for 25 years. My mother in law and I wanted to hit the hot tub before bed. It was close to closing time, but Maria was kind enough to let us relax as long as we were quiet. Which respectfully we did. However, she was about to clock out. Another woman comes along with an attitude, no regard whatsoever for guests to put it lightly. When I mentioned my concern to the kind lady, she simply replied “she’s never happy”. The ignorant lady is Jamie, not sure if I’m spelling it correctly. But she can’t to use me and my mother in law out as soon as she could. Then we continued our quiet conversation in the lounging area where Jamie encountered us 4 other times. Each of which we tried to ask her how her night was going, if there was anything we could do to help, so on and so forth. She wouldn’t even look at us or reply. If I take this much time to write a review, I hope management takes it into consideration. You charge way to much for people to be treated that way.
All fine. They don't serve breakfast. I have been told because they don't have space for a kitchen. Although they offer a pot of coffee and hot water, they could at least offer some fruit, snacks, cookies or yogurt, something that doesn't require a full kitchen. The receptionists were very friendly and accommodating. Nice atmosphere and location. Clean rooms. A bit pricey.
It's lost its appeal that it had a few years ago. It hasn't recovered from removing the pool. The rooms were updated but it wasn't done very well. I like the previous rooms better. Promises were made about the pool that no longer exist and nothing was communicated to the owners. I'm not a happy timeshare owner.
I was in town for a wedding the last weekend in June 2025. I stayed on one of their smaller, studio suites and it was exactly what I needed, with more than enough room for myself. The room was in good condition, the resort was quiet (probably due to being off season), and it is conveniently located. The staff there is AMAZING! I wish I had gotten their names, but the two who were there to check me in were some of the friendliest help I’ve ever had and even asked how the Wesson was a few days later. If I ever make it to Park City again, I will definitely be staying here again
Almost done with the remodel. They did a nice job with it. Big hot tub right in the middle of the lobby. Off season rates were fantastic. Can walk to a lot of stuff. Really nice staff. Underground parking. Check out offset Brewing down the street
Stayed here for this last weekend, during the offseason for a chance to do some exploring around the Park City area. We got the "mini suite" room, and the staff was phenomenal. Originally, I made a mistake and booked a different room, but it was zero hassle to switch out and change to this one. I highly recommend getting the larger mini suite room with a mountian view patio. Full kitchen with every sort of utensil and supply item you could have at home in your own kitchen, everything full size. Couch converts to a bed too. Loved everything, including the assortment of game tables in the rec area, and also the massive hit tub. I will definitely be staying here again.
