St. Regis Deer Valley offers an unparalleled luxury retreat with ski-in/ski-out access, world-class amenities, and breathtaking mountain views. Combining refined elegance with the rugged beauty of Deer Valley, this five-star resort provides an unforgettable experience for discerning travelers.
The St. Regis Deer Valley is a premium luxury property known for stunning views, impeccable ski-in/ski-out access, and exceptional, personalized service that consistently earns 5-star praise. However, experiences can vary significantly depending on the staff member encountered and specific hotel systems, as evidenced by complaints regarding inconsistent housekeeping, poor AC performance in warm weather, and inflexible reservation policies.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize an outstanding employee, Cheyenne, for the exceptional service she provided. I had an issue with a booking that was completely my fault, but Cheyenne handled the situation with professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. She went well beyond what I would normally expect from a front desk manager. Not only did she help me work through the issue, but she also made sure I was connected with the right people so the necessary changes could be made. At every step she was helpful, calm, and focused on finding a solution. In a time when great customer service can sometimes be hard to find, Cheyenne truly stands out. She treated me and my family with respect and made the entire process much easier than I expected. Because of her help, we’re now looking forward to our stay this Wednesday, March 11th. Employees like Cheyenne make a real difference in the guest experience, and she deserves to be recognized for the effort and care she puts into her work. Sincerely, The Wilton Family
Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Stopped here for 1 night on a road trip to Zion National Park. The views were stunning especially on the night I arrived when there was thunder and lighting in the distance, it was one of the best views I’ve ever seen and I’ll remember it for a long time. The hotel itself is super cool. You take a gondola from the parking lot to the hotel, there’s a pool and the restaurants are luxurious and delicious. Overall a 10/10 experience for 1 night.
The wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay over SB weekend. We went in with fairly high expectations and I'm pleased to say that they were surpassed. From the moment we booked the team at STR DV made sure to let us know they were available for anything we needed. This level of service was maintained through the entire stay. Every single member of the staff we encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful. During our stay we tried every restaurant on the site. The service was 10/10 at every single one and the food averaged 7/10. That being said, it was by far the best "mountain resort" food we've ever had. The ski in/ski out location was phenomenal and everyone working the ski valet was simply amazing. The bar/vintange room gets pretty crazy for the après but that was expected. What we didn't expect, and possibly the only con of the hotel, is the slow funicular. After you ride it a few times it just becomes a bit of a nuisance. Also the lines for it can get pretty crazy. Fortunately during the après, they do have staff that will bring you to the front of the line if you're staying at the hotel. Lastly, the hard product was also fantastic. We had a corner mountain view suite and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We're certainly looking forward to making this a yearly trip and very thankful to the team for making our stay unforgettable.
I am beyond disappointed with how my group was treated at this hotel. We were repeatedly told the property and amenities were “over capacity,” which was clearly untrue, as we watched other guests being allowed in right in front of us. To make this even more frustrating, we are Titanium members and spent a significant amount of money on property — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour. Loyalty and spending apparently mean nothing here. The staff (specifically the women working at the time) were rude, dismissive, and openly hostile. The energy was not subtle — it felt personal and targeted. Being lied to while watching exceptions made for others is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. Whether this was blatant favoritism, poor management, or outright discrimination, the result was the same: we were treated unfairly and with disrespect. Hospitality is about welcoming guests, not making them feel unwanted or singled out. Management needs to seriously reevaluate their staff and training standards.
St Regis Deer Valley is in the perfect location with a beautiful view. We loved making s’mores, thank you for having them available. This is the a great place to relax and take a warm bubble bath. We highly recommend for a good time!
We stayed from New Year’s Day for a week. Dry December for the area so snow not good. No one can help that. The service at this hotel from top to bottom was excellent. They made not so great days at the slopes better by providing excellent food, drinks and service. Not all St.Regis properties are the same. This one is one of the best … if not their best out there. And it’s because of their people and the service they provide.
The St. Regis Deer Valley is a beautiful hotel located in a stunning area, and the overall ambiance is very elegant and impressive. Unfortunately, I had to reduce three stars due to a very disappointing experience at the breakfast buffet. We had a reservation for 10:00 a.m., but our table was not ready until 10:40. We were left waiting while hungry, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. In addition, when the bill was presented, we noticed we were charged for cappuccino, even though we had been told that beverages were included with the buffet. This significantly impacted our experience.
Recently had a couples massage experience at the St. Regis - it was incredible! It was easy to find and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The locker room and relaxation room were clean and elegant. The walk down the spiral staircase that brings you to the treatment rooms was spectacular. It was a pleasant surprise to see a small stream splitting the long room below at the base of the stairs. The rooms were calming and comforting and the massage beds were heated! Our massage therapists were friendly and welcoming. Both my wife and I enjoyed our massages and would definitely come back again to receive another one of these incredible massages. They massaged head to toe, avoiding the stomach and private areas. We were both very pleased with the whole experience. Would recommend!
My sister and I went for spa treatment on nov 5th. We both enjoyed our massage and the experience level was wonderful. I had Sutton m, my sister had Sarah. also, front desk carson was very helpful too. Thank you for making our trip fantastic!
Visited the Deer Valley St Regis for a corporate event the first week of November. The hotel staff including front desk, housekeeping and restaurants were all top notch. Special call out to Amaria at the front desk for great restaurant recommendations in the town and her personal attention to remembering dozens of guest names following check in. Would highly recommend for a corporate event or holiday stay.
