This historic lodge offers spectacular Mountain/Eagle Bend views and excellent proximity to Deer Valley Ski Resort, making it a convenient choice for ski weekends despite occupant dogs barking. Some recent guests encountered major comfort issues like unreliable HVAC and high beds that made getting in and out difficult.
Great location by the slopes and not far from main street. Room was nice but could use some updating. The thing that toggles between the shower/tub was stuck resulting in low pressure when I took showers. Staff was excellent and helpful. Overall enjoyed my stay.
Lovely facility and nice rooms. Nice place to stay after a concert at Deer Valley! A bit spendy for what you get, but I guess that's Park City for you. Would be 5 star if the rooms were more affordable.
We come here every year in the summer. Great little lodge and close proximity to downtown shopping and resteraunts.
I stayed at this property recently and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning in my original room was completely non-functional, leaving the room extremely hot and making it impossible to get any rest. Hudson, the manager, and Marshall at the front desk were both incredibly kind and professional. Hudson did his best to make the situation right — he provided a discount for the night, brought up a fan, and moved me to a new room. Unfortunately, the second room also had AC issues and didn’t start working until about 1–2 AM, long after I’d already endured another uncomfortably warm night. No additional accommodations were offered after that, despite the ongoing inconvenience. It seems like unreliable air conditioning is a broader issue across the property, which is unacceptable at this price point. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts, I would not recommend staying here until the AC issues are fully resolved.
My wife & I stayed in Mar 2025. The facility is very nice with a historic vibe. The staff was courteous. Breakfast buffet was substantial, but hot items were not hot enough. The car service was accompanied by an excellent phone app, premium vehicles, and great drivers. My primary concern with The Lodges was barking dogs. Guests cannot bring dogs, but the unit owners have dogs. Mutiple dogs were present in two units near me, barking continued even after communicating the concern to staff. Dogs may greet you when you walk into the lobby too. I talked to the staff, you may be able to call and request a room that has fewer dogs in the vicinity, but no guarantee. Carpet staining had the appearance of animal excrement, but I can't be sure of the actual source.
I loved this place and especially loved Drew who drove us around was a very nice guy and was very friendly.
Over priced, hotel room was old, no where to sit, bedside light did not work. No kitchen, needs complete face lift. Spa was dirty with dirt and leaves, unable to give me a bill at checkout. Avoid this place you can do better in Park City. Food was marginal at best and way over priced in the only restaurant.
We stayed here for the beer festival and it was pretty disappointing. We stayed at Silver Baron last year and it was definitely better. Our room was just weird. We had a “deluxe room” that felt like we were in a cave—rm 5426. The windows were on the ceiling. There was one window on the wall, but it was set as our headboard. No regular bed headboard, metal bed frame and that’s it. The bed was so high that you really should’ve had a step to get in it. I’m 5’ 6” and the bed height went to the middle of my back. I would start to lay back and had to push off the wall to get leverage in, haha. There weren’t blackout curtains at the headboard, so that was frustrating in the mornings. We had a queen bed instead of a king. I saw they had other rooms with them, so I’m not sure why we weren’t given one other than the cave we were in couldn’t have fit it in the nook. No plastic dirty linen bags, no housekeeping, no safe to hold wallets, jewelry, etc. We asked for a receipt of our stay and just got a copy of what we paid for parking, instead of the whole stay. It was all just weird. And the only reason I bring these things up are that for an 2-night $800 stay, you expect more. It was highly disappointing. We’ll stay elsewhere next time.
This was such a wonderful place to stay! We stayed during the off season so it was completely empty but it was so pleasant. There's a free shuttle and a free ride share option from the resort to town which was awesome.
Incredible staff . They really went all out to make our superbowl sunday party go smoothly. Great breakfast. Clean beautiful rooms. Easy shuttle service to get to skiing & into downtown park city.
